Chelsea

...the repetitive & characterless life of chelsea.

Layout: I don't like the pink & green. They just don't match your writing. Changing the font and link colors wouldn't mess up the pink and green in the premade image, I don't think. The picture really does nothing for your content, and vice versa. It is nicely made though, kudos to http://star-layouts.diaryland.com. You should do with your layout, what you did with your piczo. Now that is good stuff, and it suits you better. Alas, you maintain orginization well, so I will give you credit for that, and working links.

Content/Grammar: I think you know where you stand with the grammar. It's an issue.

I don't like your content, it's just not what I would want to return to. If I were your friend, I'd read it if you asked me to, but not because I wanted to. It's the most simple daylog I've ever read, a lot about eating and preparing the food and the funny things that happen with the people it happened with. All of the generalities are topped off with your siggy. If this were the first diary someone clicked on, to get a feel of the webjournaling world, they'd not want to participate. Thaaaanks. And that's what sort of makes your diary suck a little. Inside jokes and top secret things are things that should go into a diary, not mentioned and still kept a secret. From whom are you keeping it? Your readers. In my opinion, this is like some clickable update on your everyday life so you don't actually have to maintain a relationship with some so much. Not my niche, that's fo' sho.

Attraction: This diary is very attractive at first sight. Even your extras led me to believe that this would be a good read. But it wasn't a good read. Unless I wanted to keep up with you without actually putting in the effort to call you, as a friend, I would not read this. So, erm... you get the attraction points!

Links: I've never been to piczo, and I like it. You also have nice typical diary links, i.e. this.

Overall: I guess I shouldn't hold this up to such high standards. I mean, afterall: this is only a critique site, right? Your diary needs work. Do you think about things besides food and going places and chatting? I know you do, or should. I suggest some practice, with Random Inspiration. I'll be back, young lady, and I expect material.
